Saskatchewan Provincial Program

Employment Offer:

Candidates who have an offer of employment from a Saskatchewan employer and who score high enough on the SINP Points Assessment Grid may submit an application to the stream at any time.

Entrepreneur:

This stream is designed to target experienced business owners or senior business managers who want to live in Saskatchewan. Successful applicants must start a new business or buy an existing business in which they participate in the day-to-day management duties.

Existing Work Permit:

This program targets candidates who have an offer of employment from a Saskatchewan employer and who have already been working for that same employer for the six months prior to applying.

Health Professionals:

This program targets doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who are already working in Saskatchewan and have offers for continued employment in their healthcare profession.

Hospitality Sector Project:

This program targets candidates who are currently working in Saskatchewan in the hospitality sector and have an offer of full-time employment to continue this work.

International Graduate Entrepreneur Category:

This stream is designed to target international students graduating from an eligible Saskatchewan institution, who plan to remain in the province as an entrepreneur. Successful applicants will actively operate and manage a business in the province, and own one-third of the business equity.

International Skilled Worker:

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker encompasses three immigration streams which target foreign nationals who have skilled work experience and who meet the unique needs and requirements to fill gaps in Saskatchewan’s labour force.

Long Haul Truck Driver Project:

This program targets candidates who have an offer of employment from a Saskatchewan trucking company and who have already been working for the same Saskatchewan employer for the six months prior to application on a valid work permit.

Occupations In-Demand:

Candidates who have experience in one of Saskatchewan’s in-demand occupations and score high enough on the SINP Points Assessment Grid may submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for the stream.

Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm:

Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm encompasses two immigration streams which target foreign nationals seeking to invest significant amounts of capital in the establishment of new business development in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Experience:

Saskatchewan Experience encompasses five immigration streams which target foreign nationals who have already gained work experience from a Saskatchewan employer and who hold a valid job offer for permanent employment in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Express Entry:

Candidates from the federal Express Entry pool who have high skilled work experience in an occupation that is not listed on the SINP Excluded Occupation List may submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for the stream.

Saskatchewan Farm Owners and Operators:

This stream is designed to target experienced farm owners and operators who wish to own and operate a farm in Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Students:

This program targets international students who have recently graduated from a Canadian educational institution and have at least 6 months of experience working in Saskatchewan.
